The fantastic team from Ashgrove Tree Services – 4 wonderful guys – lopped our gum tree today because our new neighbour was concerned about the possible damage from branches.
Arrived spot on time! It was a choreographed operation which was absolutely beautiful to witness.
All branches lopped were lowered with care to both properties causing little/no impact.
The guys were totally proficient in their craft and removed the overhanging branches and cut and disposed of them and the debris during and after the final branch being lowered.
I cannot recommend Ashgrove Tree Services more highly. This is (I think) the third time they have performed their magic on our tree – maintaining its beauty, integrity and health.

How much does tree removal cost?
Every tree job is different, so the cost depends on factors like the size of the tree, its location, and how easy it is to access.
Our pricing reflects a premium service, with a fully insured, qualified team who leave your property clean and tidy.
Our free quotes are transparent and can be itemised on request, and we offer discounted rates for smaller jobs.
Are your arborists qualified and insured?
Yes. Our team includes AQF Level 3 and AQF Level 5 trade-qualified arborists, and we’re fully insured for every job we take on.
We follow safety protocols that go above industry standards, and as proud members of Arboriculture Australia and the Queensland Arboricultural Association with nearly 30 years in the industry, we have the experience to handle even the most complex removals safely and efficiently.
Do I need council approval to remove a tree?
Some trees in Brisbane are protected, either because of the wildlife they support or because they fall under a Vegetation Protection Order (VPO) or NALL (Natural Asset Local Law).
These trees need council approval before removal, and a permit may also be needed to prune more than 10% of the foliage.
